How to add album art on Android

Learn how to use the Album Art Grabber app to add album art to your songs on your Android device.

Steps

Step 1. Install Album Art Grabber from the Play Store

It's a free app that scans music sites for album art.

To install the app, open the Play Store (the multicolored triangle in the app drawer), then type album art grabber in the search bar. Once you have located the app, choose TO INSTALL.

Step 2. Open Album Art Grabber

This app is located in the app drawer and is represented by a gray disc. Depending on your settings, you will also find it on your home screen.

Step 3. Tap a song or album

The Choose Image From window opens.

Step 4. Select a source

Album Art Grabber can extract artwork from LastFM, MusicBrainz or your SD Card. Once you have chosen your source, a window showing the corresponding results will open.

Step 5. Choose the pouch to use

A confirmation window will appear on the screen.

Step 6. Tap Configure

The cover art is now connected to the selected song or album.
