Many of us download certain software that we use only once for a specific task. Sometimes we want to try new software, but soon we don't use it anymore. Some software will remain in our computer unnecessarily and slow it down while taking up space in the hard drive. In this case, it is desirable to remove such software from our computer.
Steps

Step 1. Turn on your computer
Start by clicking on the button To start up which is placed at the bottom left of the screen. Then open the control panel. It is from the control panel that you can control the main settings of your computer.

Step 2. Select Add or Remove Programs
You will thus open a new window in which will be displayed all the programs which are installed in your machine.

Step 3. Select a program
Navigate through the list of programs available to you and choose the one you want to remove from your computer. Click on the name of the program and then select the Remove option to completely erase the program from your computer.
- A new window will open, click on Accept to confirm your decision. The time required to uninstall a program varies depending on the size of the program.

Step 4. Restart your computer
In some cases, you will be asked to restart the computer for the registry to be updated.
