If you are using Windows 10; 8 or 8.1, you can install a game from an ISO file using the tools built into the operating system. You just need to mount the file which ends with the file extension .iso with a virtual drive, a task you can accomplish in seconds. Find out how to mount a game's ISO file as a virtual drive for installation on your Windows PC.
Steps

Step 1. Press ⊞ Win + E
File Explorer will open.

Step 2. Navigate to the ISO file
For example, if you downloaded the file from the Internet, you will usually find it in your folder Downloads Where Office. The name of the file will often be the name or version of the game followed by .iso.
- ISO files can be provided free of charge by the developer or publisher of the game.
- If you don't see the extensions (for example,.iso,.exe,.jpg) at the end of the filenames in File Explorer, click the tab Display at the top of the window, and check the box File name extensions in the panel Show / Hide.

Step 3. Right click on the ISO file
A contextual menu will open.

Step 4. Click Mount
It's at the top of the context menu. The ISO content (which is exactly what you see when you insert the game DVD) will appear as a virtual drive.
The ISO will get its own drive letter, as if it were in a real DVD-ROM drive. You'll find it in the left panel of File Explorer along with your other drives

Step 5. Double click on the game installer
The program will generally be titled Setup.exe, Install.exe Where Autoexec.exe. It can include a file Setup.exe, Install.exe Where Autoexec.exe to run the installer.

Step 6. Follow the on-screen setup instructions
If the game requires later insertion of a CD or DVD, you just need to remount the ISO file.
- If the game does not require inserting a DVD when you launch it, you can eject the ISO image. Right click on the new drive in your File Explorer and choose Eject.
