Step 4. Check your tracking code carefully

To be sure that Google Analytics will track your website data, return to the “Admin” page, from there click on “Tracking Information” then on “Tracking Code”. Next to "Tracking ID" you can find "Status", which tells you if the code is installed correctly or not.
