You can change your computer's language to modify the text in menus and windows to suit your preferences. The language can be changed on Windows computers and Macs. Note that this manipulation will not change the language of your web browser or other programs.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: On Windows

Step 1. Open the Start menu

Click on the Windows logo at the bottom left of the screen.
You can also press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu

Step 2. Click Settings

This star wheel icon is located at the bottom left of the start window.

Step 3. Select Time & Language
This option is in the middle of the settings window.

Step 4. Go to the Region and Language tab
You will find it on the far left of the window.

Step 5. Click Add Language
This option is next to a large sign + in the middle of the page, under the Languages heading.

Step 6. Select a language
Click on the language you want to use on your computer.

Step 7. Choose a specific variation
If clicking on your preferred language takes you to a page with different variations available, click on one to select it.
Variations are not available for all languages

Step 8. Click on the language you just added
You will find it under the language used by default in the Languages section of the window. Click on it to display additional options.

Step 9. Select Options
This button appears under the language. Click on it to open the Language Options window.

Step 10. Download the language pack
Click on To download under the Download Language Pack heading at the top left of the page.

Step 11. Click on the back button

This button is located at the top left of the screen.

Step 12. Choose Set as Default Language
You will find this button under the selected language. This will appear at the top in the Languages section and will be used by default in all menus, applications and all other built-in options by default.

Step 13. Restart your computer
Open the start menu, click the power button

then select To restart. Once your computer has restarted and you are logged in to your account again, the language you selected will be displayed by default.
Method 2 of 2: On Mac

Step 1. Open the Apple menu

Click on the Apple logo at the top left of the screen to display a drop-down menu.

Step 2. Go to System Preferences
This option is at the top of the drop-down menu.

Step 3. Select Language and Region
This is the flag icon at the top of the System Preferences window.

Step 4. Click +
This icon is located under the lower left corner of the Preferred Languages box on the left of the Language and Region window. Click on it to open a pop-up window with different languages.

Step 5. Choose the language you want to use
Then click on Add.

Step 6. Select Use [Language]
It's the blue button at the bottom right of the window. Click on it to set the language you added as the default display language for your computer.
Otherwise, you can just click on the language you added and drag it from the bottom to the top in the Preferred languages box

Step 7. Restart your Mac
Your changes will be saved.
