Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use the Facebook application

Step 1. Open the Facebook application

It is represented by a white letter "f" on a dark blue background.

If you haven't signed in to Facebook yet, be sure to enter your password and email address (or phone number) and tap Log in.

Step 2. Type the name of a Facebook group in the search bar

This is at the top of the screen. You could only make posts made in groups on Facebook appear at the top of the list (such as free classifieds).

Step 3. Tap the group you want to visit

It will appear in the drop-down menu at the bottom of the search bar.

Step 4. Find the post you want to promote

Depending on how old the post is and how active the group is, you should scroll down a few times before you find it.

Step 5. Write a comment

People tend to write up or something like that when they try to get a post to appear at the top of the list.

Step 6. Tap Publish

This option is located to the right of the input field. When you tap it, your post will appear at the top of the page you selected!

You would have to exit and return to the group for these changes to take effect

Method 2 of 2: Use the Facebook website

Step 1. Go to the Facebook site

When you log into this platform, you will be redirected to your news feed page.

If you haven't logged into Facebook yet, be sure to enter your password and email address in the top right corner of the page and click Log in.

Step 2. Type the name of a Facebook group in the search bar
