You should never cheat on an exam. It is harmful to your present and your future. However, if it's really mandatory, there are a couple of ways to get it right.
Method 1 of 12: Use the Internet
Step 1. During the exam, consult the Internet
Take a look at your smartphone, tablet or other portable device. Thanks to its Internet browser, you will find the answers to the questions put to you. Be careful not to get caught.
- Obviously, this only works if your device has internet access.
- However, if you get caught using your device, you are going to have a zero on this exam and maybe even others. Rather, it is advisable to prepare small cards with the answers that you consult discreetly by taking them out of your pocket without being seen.
Method 2 of 12: Use a calculator
Step 1. Hide information in your calculator
Most calculators come with a sheet with many functions written on it. If possible, write the formulas or problems on the piece of paper.
- Your teacher won't be suspicious because he'll think you are thinking about the problem.
Method 3 of 12: Using a calculator 2nd technique
Step 1. Use a programmable calculator
For exams where you are entitled to the calculator, use one that allows you to record equations, notes, theorems, proofs, etc. Create a fake password protected program and use the text box. None of your teachers will be able to access it. However, using programmable calculators for most exams is prohibited and may be verified by the proctor.
Method 4 of 12: Use a calculator 3rd technique
Step 1. Hide the calculator in your lap
During the math exam, put the calculator between your thighs and each time you need to use it, type the operation and pretend you are turning your neck to glance at the screen of the device.
Step 2. Memorize the location of the buttons
Practice before the exam to find out where the buttons are without having to look at the calculator.
Method 5 of 12: Take an iPod down the toilet
Step 1. Save your notes to an iPod
Save a copy of all your notes to an iPod (for iPod Nano via iTunes, directly to the device for iPod touch). Alternatively, you can also download a file manager app to your device to copy your notes to.
Step 2. Wear a garment with pockets
On the day of the exam, wear a piece of clothing with pockets (such as shorts) that you put under your clothes.
Step 3. Put the iPod in a pocket
Keep the iPod in one of the pockets of this garment and if someone asks you to empty your pockets at the entrance to the room, you will not have anything compromising in the visible pockets.
Step 4. Put the iPod on silent
Before you go to school, make sure the iPod isn't ringing or making a noise anyway.
Step 5. Go to the bathroom
When you come across a question and are unsure of the answer, ask the supervisor if you can use the bathroom. If he doesn't allow you to do so, tell him that you are too keen to continue the exam.
Step 6. Lock yourself in the toilet and keep your feet on the ground
Step 7. Review your notes
When you're protected from prying eyes in the bathroom, you can pull out your iPod and read your notes. Don't take too long or it might sound suspicious.
Step 8. Hide the iPod
When you're done, hide the iPod and pretend you're feeling better.
Step 9. Don't worry
The main advantage of this method is that you cannot be asked to remove your pants, so there is no evidence that you have cheated.
Method 6 of 12: Use a smartphone
Step 1. Write down the information on your smartphone
Lay it on your lap, where the teacher can't see it, and when you need an answer, take a look at the notes you've recorded. Be careful that no one calls you. You can also ask a friend to text you with the answers, but watch out for the teacher.
Step 2. Write the notes
To create a note on your smartphone, open the text editor on your computer and copy-paste the necessary information. Save the file and transfer it to your phone, wired or wireless. It is possible to open a text file on some devices. You could also download a text viewer like Young Reader.
Step 3. Use a website
If you have 3G access, you can easily copy and paste your notes to a website or blog. Then use your internet browser to read the notes on the web page. Thanks to the search box, you can easily find the information you need in less than three seconds.
Method 7 of 12: Using a smartphone Technique 2
Step 1. Take a photo of your notes
Step 2. Hide the phone
During the exam, place the phone between your thighs or hide it with your kit.
Step 3. Use texting
You could also text yourself with the grades before the exam starts or ask a friend to text them to you if you need to.
- Remember to mute the phone and turn off the key beep or you will get caught.
Method 8 of 12: Leverage an MP3 player
Step 1. Record your notes
Find a microphone and record any notes you might need by reading them aloud. Save different files according to chapter, section, etc., for easy access.
Step 2. Keep the files on your MP3 player
Step 3. Ask for permission to listen to music
For example, tell the teacher that you have done all your revisions with music and that this will help you reactivate the areas of the brain where the information is stored, if necessary. If you are not allowed to do so, hide the earpiece in your sleeve or put on your hood. You can also easily hide it without attracting attention with your hood over your head if you have long hair.
Step 4. Listen to your “music” during the exam
Method 9 of 12: Using an MP3 player Technique 2
Step 1. Prepare your notes
Write the notes you need in a text file and save it to your MP3 (you may need a special program) or take a picture of them and save the pictures to the MP3 player. Some devices allow you to record song lyrics, you can use it to view your notes.
Step 2. Wear loose pants
Step 3. Observe the position of the desk
Make sure your desk is directly behind the person in front of you.
Step 4. Install properly
Rest your feet in the air against the back legs of the chair in front of you to raise your knees to a height that allows you to hide what you are putting on them.
Step 5. Place the MP3 player in your lap
If your teacher comes close or gets curious, slip it into your pants. It works even better if the teacher is of the opposite sex, especially for girls with a male teacher.
Method 10 of 12: Leverage an MP3 Player Technique 3
Step 1. Prepare the notes
Record your notes with a microphone and put them on your MP3 player. If your teacher doesn't allow you to listen to music (you usually do), wear a jacket, sweatshirt, or long-sleeved shirt during the exam.
Step 2. Prepare the headphones
Take your headphones and pass them through the left sleeve so that the part that you put in your ear comes out at the level of the wrist. Place the MP3 player on your lap under your sweater.
Step 3. Listen to your notes
Play the audio file and rest your head on your left hand for the duration of the exam so that the earpiece is close to your ear and you can listen to it without arousing suspicion.
Method 11 of 12: Employ an MP3 Player Technique 4th
Step 1. Download Speakonia
Download Speakonia from download.com and write all the notes you need in this program. It is a program that converts texts to speech, whatever you write in it will be converted to audible text, allowing you to listen to your notes as if they were read by someone else. For some programs, you can even choose the accent of your choice.
Step 2. Save the file in.wav format and transfer it to the MP3 player
Step 3. Set it to continuous listening
Step 4. Install the headphones
As with the previous method, you should try to pass the earpiece through the sleeve to bring it out at the wrist.
Step 5. Write down the answers
Once you have the earpiece in your hand, place your palm against your ear and write down the responses.
Method 12 of 12: adopt the atrium technique
Step 1. Use a headset
One of the newer methods of cheating on exams is by using a bluetooth headset and transmitter. This involves wearing a small device inside the ear canal. It is connected wirelessly to a transmitter that is hidden elsewhere, usually a lanyard that is worn under clothing or even a bluetooth pencil or glasses! The transmitter in turn connects to a cell phone or MP3 player in your pocket.
- Like the method with the MP3 player, you will record the information you need to listen to it again, the difference being that there is no wire, Bluetooth allows you to do without it and make the device undetectable. You can also make a call before entering the exam room and communicate with someone outside using the headset and microphone included in the transmitter.
Step 2. Use a microcamera
You could also connect the headset to a microcamera so the person helping you can see what you see and send you the responses.
