When you send a tweet, you express your love for your friends and their tweets with the ♥ symbol. You can insert a heart emoji from your mobile device, create heart shaped emoticons in your text, or copy and paste different hearts that you find on the internet. If you are using Windows, there is even a keyboard shortcut to do it! Add ♥ to your tweets, regardless of your platform.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Use copy and paste

Step 1. Find a heart
Many websites have lists of different hearts that you can copy and paste into your tweet. Go to a site like http://heartsymbol.love or check other people's tweets for the heart you want.
You can also use a heart available on the keyboard ♡ ♥ ♡ ❣ ღ ❥

Step 2. Select the heart you want to copy
Click (or tap if you're on a mobile device) on it and move the mouse over the heart you want to copy.

Step 3. Copy the selected heart
Press Ctrl + C (⌘ Cmd + C on Mac). You can also right click on the selected area and click To copy.
- If you are on a mobile device, press and hold the selected area and select To copy.

Step 4. Type your tweet and click where you want to include the heart

Step 5. Press Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd + V (Mac) to paste it.
Now you are ready to send your tweet!
- On mobile device, press longer and select To stick on to stick the heart.
Method 2 of 4: Use the keyboard

Step 1. Use the emoji keyboard on mobile device
If you are on Android or iOS, you can use the emoji keyboard included with the keyboard. Tap on the smiley face that is on the keyboard, then scroll right to find the heart.
If you're using an iPhone or iPad and you can't find the emoji keyboard, you'll need to activate it first

Step 2. Press Alt + 3 on Windows
On some laptops you have to press NumLK before for this to work.

Step 3. Type <3 for a simple heart
It will work on all platforms. One of the most popular ways to include a heart is to type <3. Like the famous emoticon:), the <3 looks like a heart spilled to the side.
- If you want to write a broken heart, type

Step 4. Beautify your emoticon <3
Add more flair to your emoticon by including other symbols like (* ~ <3 ~ *. You can also try <333 if you are really in love!

Step 5. Spell it
If you have enough characters, you can just write: "I {heart} that! Even though it takes up more space, this solution has its own style that looks better in most cases.

Method 3 of 4: Use TwitterKeys on your computer

Step 1. Go to the TwitterKeys website
TwitterKeys is a free bookmark that lets you add hearts and other symbols to your tweets when you don't have access to emojis. A bookmark is a bookmark with a link to a website, you don't have to install anything.

Step 2. Find the link to drag into the bookmarks bar

Step 3. Click and drag TwitterKeys to the bookmarks bar
For most users, the bookmarks bar is located just below the address bar.

Step 4. Compose a new tweet
Type whatever you want to include with your heart.

Step 5. Click on TwitterKeys in the bookmarks bar
This should open a small window with several symbols, including a heart. Select the tabs at the top of the screen to take a look at the available emoticons.

Step 6. Double-click on the heart of your choice
Then press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd + C (Mac). This should copy the symbol.

Step 7. Paste the heart with Ctrl + v (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd + V (Mac).
Your tweet now contains a small ♥.
Method 4 of 4: Use emojis on iOS

Step 1. Open settings
If you're using an iPhone or iPad, you need to enable emojis before you can use cute colorful hearts on Twitter. Start by opening the settings panel.

Step 2. Type General

Step 3. Select Keyboard

Step 4. Tap Keyboards

Step 5. Tap Add New Keyboard
This will open a screen that will allow you to choose additional keyboards for your device.

Step 6. Select Emojis
This will add a keyboard with a variety of colorful (and sometimes useful) icons.

Step 7. Open Twitter and start a new tweet
Type the text you want to post.

Step 8. Press and hold the globe at the bottom left of the keyboard
A menu should open with the keyboards you downloaded. Choose Emojis.

Step 9. Hit the button! ? #
Scroll left until you come to the penultimate screen where you will find a red heart. Tap on it to insert it into your tweets.
