It is recommended that you change your passwords often, even if no one has tried to log into your account without your permission. You can change your Twitter password in your account settings. You can also reset your password, if you have forgotten it.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Change your password on the Twitter site

Step 1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right corner and select Settings
You will be taken to your account settings page.

Step 2. Click the Password tab in the menu on the left of the settings page
You will find this menu under the option Security and confidentiality.

Step 3. Enter your current password
To change your password, you must first enter your current password. If you don't know your password, skip to the last section of this article for how to reset your password.

Step 4. Enter the new password you want to use
You have to type it twice to confirm it.

Step 5. Click Save Changes to save your new password
Your new password will be immediately applied to your Twitter account.

Step 6. Reconnect on your other devices
Changing your password will sign you out of Twitter on all of your other devices you're signed in to. You must enter your new password on these devices to reconnect.
Your browser has probably saved your old password so that you can log in quickly. If so, you will need to enter your new Twitter password again the next time you log in again
Method 2 of 4: Change your Twitter password in the Twitter mobile app (Android)

Step 1. Press the Menu button and select Settings
You will access the settings menu of the Twitter application.

Step 2. Select the account for which you want to change the password
If you have multiple accounts associated with the Twitter app, they will be listed there. Select the account for which you want to create a new password.

Step 3. Tap Change Password
You will find this option in the section Account up.

Step 4. Enter your current password
To create a new password, you must enter the password you are currently using. If you don't know your current password, skip to the last section of this article, for instructions on how to reset your password.

Step 5. Enter your new password
You need to type it twice to make sure it is typed correctly.

Step 6. Press the Change Password button to confirm the new password
Your new password will be immediately applied and you will be logged out of Twitter on other devices you are logged in to.
Method 3 of 4: Change your Twitter password in the Twitter mobile app (iPhone)

Step 1. Open your iPhone's web browser and navigate to the Twitter site
You cannot change your Twitter password in the Twitter iPhone app. Instead, you should use Twitter's mobile site.

Step 2. Log into your Twitter account
If you're trying to change your password because you can't remember it, read the last section of this article, to learn how to reset your password.

Step 3. Tap the Me tab at the top of the page
You will access your profile page.

Step 4. Press the gear button near your profile picture
This will open a new menu.

Step 5. Press the Settings button
This will open your account settings page.

Step 6. Scroll down and select the Change password link
This will open the change password form.

Step 7. Enter your current password
Before changing your password, you must enter your current password. If you don't know your current password, skip to the last section of this article.

Step 8. Enter your new password
You have to type it twice to confirm it.

Step 9. Press Save to save your new password
Your new password will be immediately applied to your account. You will be signed out of Twitter on all other devices you're signed in to.

Step 10. Log in to Twitter using your new password in the Twitter mobile app
After changing your password, you can open the Twitter app and use it to sign in again.
Method 4 of 4: Reset a lost password

Step 1. Click or tap the Forgot your password? on the identification screen. If you don't know your Twitter password, you can reset it on your computer or in the mobile app. Tap Forgot password? on the identification screen to start the reset process. If you are already logged in, you must log out.

Step 2. Search for your account by email, username or phone number
Enter any of this information in the search field to search for your Twitter account. You can only use the phone number if you have previously linked it to your account.

Step 3. Select the method for resetting your password
Twitter offers two different password reset methods, but one is only available if you have a phone number associated with your account. Twitter may send you a code by message to your phone number or a reset password link by email to the email address associated with your account.
If you no longer have access to your email account and do not have a phone number associated with your account, it is not possible for Twitter to reset your password. You must have access to your email account to be able to reset your password

Step 4. Enter the code or follow the link to go to the password reset screen
If you opted for a code by message, enter the code that Twitter sent you by message to your phone number to access the password reset screen. If you have opted in to receive the reset link by email, click on the link in the email you received to access the reset password screen. If you are using Gmail, you will find the Twitter email in the section Updates from Gmail.

Step 5. Enter a new password
You can create a new password for your Twitter account. After creating your password, you will be logged out of Twitter on all other devices you are logged in to. Use your new password to log back in.
