On Snapchat, you can see if a friend has taken a screenshot of one of the snaps you sent.
Steps

Step 1. See if you have a notification
If you've enabled Snapchat notifications, you'll see the text "(Friend) took a screenshot!" Appear on your phone's lock screen when someone takes a screenshot of your snap.
If you haven't enabled notifications, you can check it yourself in the app

Step 2. Open the Snapchat app
It is the silhouette of a white ghost on a yellow background.
- If you are not logged in, press To log in and enter your username (or email address) followed by your password.

Step 3. Slide to the right
Your Chats page opens.

Step 4. Look for two arrows overlapping
The icon representing the screenshot is the outline of an arrow pointing right overlapping the outline of an arrow pointing left. This icon is to the left of the names of your contacts. You will also see the text Screen Capture appear below the icon, followed by the time (or day) the capture was taken.
- If you've submitted your snap but it hasn't been opened, you'll see a red or purple arrow pointing to the right.
- If you've sent your snap but your contact hasn't taken a screenshot, you'll see an outline of an arrow pointing right.
- The arrows are red for snap screenshots without sound and purple for snap screenshots with sound.
