Learn how to save photos from your phone's gallery to your Snapchat account. You can do this on both Android devices and iPhones, since you actually only need to have a dedicated Snapchat folder in your phone or tablet app. If you don't already have this folder, create one by saving a snap in your photo gallery.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Create a Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet
Step 1. Open Snapchat
The app, which is represented by a yellow icon containing a ghost, can be found in the app drawer on your Android or on the home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2. Scroll down to the Memories page
It's next to the main trigger button and any stories you saved in it will appear.
To access the Memories page on some phones and tablets, you may not need to go down, but just need to tap an icon that looks like two photos overlapping
Step 3. Select a snap to save
Step 4. Press the dots⁝ of the snap
They are located at the top right.
Step 5. Choose Export Snap from the context menu
You will then be able to export the snap to the application of your choice.
Step 6. Tap Gallery Where Save the image.
The options differ from tablet to phone to phone. The snap is sent to a dedicated folder linked to Snapchat, in the photo gallery of your phone or tablet.
Part 2 of 2: Sync photos from your photo gallery to Snapchat
Step 1. Open Snapchat
This is the yellow icon containing a white ghost.
If you are still on the Memories page, press the back button until you are back on the Snapchat home page
Step 2. Tap your profile picture
It's at the top left of the page that appears when you open Snapchat.
Step 3. Tap the icon
It is at the top right of the page which contains your profile picture.
Step 4. Scroll down and select Memories
It's below the My Account tab on the settings page.
Step 5. Choose Import Snaps From Photo Gallery
It is crucial to create a Snapchat folder in your photo gallery before this step, as you will not see any photos appear in this option if there is not already a Snapchat folder on your device
Step 6. Choose photos from your gallery to import into Snapchat
If you want to add all the photos from your gallery to Snapchat, tap the option Select all at the top towards the middle of the page.
Step 7. Tap Import [number] snaps
This is the red button below the photos. The photos you have chosen in your photo gallery will be synced with your Snapchat account!
