If you want to prevent someone from contacting you on Snapchat on your iPhone, iPad, or any device running Android, you can block that contact.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Block a friend

Step 1. Open Snapchat
Press the yellow icon containing a small ghost.
If you are not logged in automatically, type your username and password

Step 2. Open your profile
Swipe down anywhere on the screen to access your profile and account.

Step 3. Select My Friends
This option is near the bottom of the screen.

Step 4. Select a friend
Tap the name of the person you want to block and let your finger touch it for a while.
You may need to scroll through the contact list to find the one you want to block

Step 5. Press the ⚙️ symbol
It's located at the top right of the conversation window.

Step 6. Select Block

Step 7. Tap Block
Confirm that you want to block this friend.

Step 8. Indicate a reason
Select the reason why you are blocking this contact. The reasons could be "Harassment", "I don't know him", "Inappropriate snaps", "Annoying" or "Other". Choose the option that best matches your reason for blocking that person.
Method 2 of 2: Block a stranger who has contacted you

Step 1. Open Snapchat
Press the yellow icon containing a small ghost.
If you are not logged in automatically, type your username and password

Step 2. Tap the chat bubble
It is located at the bottom left of the screen.
You will be taken to a list of people you have chatted with or who have sent you messages

Step 3. Select the person to block
Tap on their name for a moment.
If necessary, scroll through the list to find the right contact

Step 4. Press the ⚙️ symbol
It's located at the top right of the conversation window.

Step 5. Select Block

Step 6. Tap Block
Confirm that you want to block this friend.

Step 7. Indicate a reason
Select the reason why you are blocking this contact. The reasons could be "Harassment", "I don't know him", "Inappropriate snaps", "Annoying" or "Other". Choose the option that best matches your reason for blocking that person.
