It is possible to rotate a photo in Snapchat before sending it as a Snap. Although the app itself does not support rotating images, you can do so with your device's image editing program before sending Snaps.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use an iPhone or iPad

Tap the round button at the bottom of the camera screen.

Add effects, text and designs. If you don't want to use Snapchat's image editing options, skip this step.

Step 4. Save the image

Tap the square icon with a small arrow at the bottom of the screen. Your photo will be saved in Memories.

  • If this is your first time saving a photo in your Memories, you will need to choose a destination folder. You can choose Memories (photos will be saved in Snapchat's server) or Memories and film (the photos will also be saved to your device).

Step 5. Press X

This is the icon at the top left of the screen.

Step 6. Open your Memories

Swipe up on the camera screen to access the folder.

The option is right under the word Memories at the top of the screen. You should see your photo appear.

  • If you don't see the photo in the Camera Roll, you will need to save it there.

    • Press on Snaps at the top of the screen.
