In Safari, you can bookmark a web page to make it easier to find it later. You can add a bookmark on the Safari app for iPhone, iPad and desktop.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Bookmark in Safari on iPhone, iPad or iPod

Step 1. Open the Safari application
The Safari app icon looks like a blue and white compass.

Step 2. Go to a web page
Usually, bookmarks are added to web pages that you visit regularly or that you want to find more easily for future reference.

Step 3. Press

This is the share button (a square-shaped button with an arrow pointing up). You'll find it at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone or in the upper left corner on an iPad.

Step 4. Select Add Bookmark
It's the gray open book icon at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5. Rename the bookmark
You can keep the default name of the web page or delete it and give it whatever name you want.

Step 6. Choose a location for your bookmark
Under section SITE on the screen you will find a list of the available folders. Tap any of them to place your bookmark in a folder. If you want it listed at the top of the directory, don't press any folder.
- If you want to create a new bookmarks folder, press the button Bookmarks in Safari. This is the blue button that looks like 2 curved pages. Then press Edit bookmarks in the corner of the screen, select New folder, rename the folder and then press Bookmarks under the location.

Step 7. Press Save
This option is located at the top right of the screen. Your bookmark will be saved in the location you selected.
- To access bookmarks, tap the bookmarks icon in Safari and then tap the bookmark you want to open.
- To delete a bookmark, tap the bookmarks icon in Safari and then tap Edit bookmarks in the corner of the screen. Tap the icon
red next to the bookmark you want to delete and then select To delete.
Method 2 of 2: Add bookmark in Safari on desktop

Step 1. Open the Safari application
This is the blue and white app with a compass icon.

Step 2. Open a web page
Bookmarks are used for web pages that you visit regularly or that you want to remember so that you can visit them in the future.

Step 3. Click Bookmarks in the menu bar

Step 4. Select Add Bookmark from the drop-down menu

Step 5. Rename the bookmark
You can keep the default web page name or delete it and type in whatever name you want.

Step 6. Choose a save location
You will see a list of available folders under the drop-down menu Add this page to.
- To add a new folder, click Bookmarks in the menu bar then select Add bookmarks folder. An “untitled folder” will be added to the sidebar in Safari. Long click on it to change the name.

Step 7. Click Add
- To access bookmarks, click Bookmarks in the menu bar and then select the bookmark you want to open.
- Click on Bookmarks in the menu bar then click on Show bookmarks to display the bookmarks bar.
- Select Bookmarks in the menu bar then click on Edit bookmarks to move, delete or rename your bookmarks.
