Who has never railed against these popup windows (literally, “pop-up” windows) that appear without warning when surfing the Internet? It may even happen that these windows fill almost the entire screen making it impossible to read the Internet page you are viewing. This problem is common to all Internet browsers, but in this article we will focus on the case of Firefox. Fortunately, it is possible in Firefox to block these popup windows.
Steps

Step 1. Open Firefox
Double-click on the Firefox icon on the desktop or click on the small Firefox icon in the taskbar.

Step 2. Click on the Firefox Menu button located in the top right corner of the screen
The Firefox settings window then appears.

Step 3. Select Option

Step 4. Click the Content tab at the top of the window

Step 5. Block popup windows
Choose option Block popup windows in order to check the box associated with it. After checking this box, Firefox will block popup windows when you surf the Internet.
