For some reason, you might want to delete data from your WhatsApp app. To do this, you need to follow certain steps, whether you are using a device running iOS, Android, or using the desktop version of the app.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: For a device running iOS

Step 1. Tap the application icon to open it

Step 2. Press the Settings button
You will see this button in the lower right corner of your screen.

Step 3. Press the Discussions button

Step 4. Tap the Clear All Conversations button
By tapping on it, you will delete the messages contained in all the conversations on your device.
Select this option if you want to keep the chat history and delete only messages, so that they do not take up enough memory space

Step 5. Press the Settings button
You will see this button in the upper left corner of your screen. After you have done this, the WhatsApp data will be deleted from your device.
Part 2 of 3: On an Android device

Step 1. Tap the application icon to open it

Step 2. Press ⋮
You will see this button at the top right of your screen.

Step 3. Press the Settings button

Step 4. Press the Discussions button

Step 5. Press the Disc History button

Step 6. Press the Clear All Chats button
By tapping on it, you will delete the messages contained in all the conversations on your device.
Select this option if you want to keep the chat history and delete only messages, so that they do not take up enough memory space

Step 7. Press the ← button
You will see this button in the upper left corner of your screen. After you do it, the WhatsApp data will be deleted from your Android.
Part 3 of 3: Use the desktop version of the app

Step 1. Tap the application icon to open it

Step 2. Click on a conversation

Step 3. Click on v or ⋮
You will see this button at the top right of your screen.

Step 4. Click on the Clear Messages button
By doing so, you will delete the messages contained in the selected conversation.

Step 5. Click on the Delete Chat button
By doing so, you will delete the selected discussion from the computer along with all the messages it contains.

Step 6. Click on the Remove button
After that, the WhatsApp data will be deleted.
