If you want to block a contact on imo.im, you can do so directly from the conversation window. Once you block a contact, they will no longer be able to call or write to you. To unblock a contact, all you have to do is access the list of blocked contacts and delete their name from the list.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Block a contact
Step 1. Open the chat you had with the person you want to block
To block someone, you must have started a conversation with them. You cannot block someone by just entering their nickname.
This process is the same on Android, iPhone, and Windows devices
Step 2. Tap the Block button at the top of the conversation
You will be asked to confirm that you want to block the person.
Step 3. Press Yes to confirm the block
The person will be added to your blocked contacts list and they will no longer be able to see whether or not you are online.
Part 2 of 2: unblock a contact
Step 1. Select the Menu button
The button Menu ☰ is located in the lower right corner and will display your nickname and various options.
- If you're using a Windows device, tap the menu imo and select Blocked users.
Step 2. Enter your nickname
This will open a new menu with additional options.
Step 3. Scroll down and tap Blocked contacts
This will display the list of your blocked contacts.
Step 4. Select Unblock next to the contact you want to unblock
Press again Unblock to confirm that you want to unblock the person. Once unblocked, the person will appear in your contact list again and you will be able to call and exchange messages.
