Do you want to consolidate all your events in one place? The iPad Calendar app gives you access to all of your digital calendars, including those you've created or shared on Google. By syncing Gmail calendars to your iPad, you'll be able to view, edit, and add events from one place.
Step 1. Go to your iPad's settings
Step 2. Select the option Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Step 3. Select Add Account
Step 4. Tap Google
Step 5. Enter your Gmail account credentials
This is your address and secret code.
If you have activated Google's two-step verification system, you will need to set a specific passcode for synchronizing the Gmail account with the iPad
Step 6. Activate the Calendars option to activate calendar synchronization
Step 7. Go to the Calendar Synchronization Site
By default, Google will only sync your basic calendar. To sync other calendars, go to www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect on your computer or iPad.
Step 8. Check the calendars you want to sync
You will need to return to this site each time you create or receive a new calendar.
Step 9. Save
The calendars you selected will sync with your iPad.
Step 10. Set a default schedule
After syncing, new events you create may not appear on your other devices because they were created from the calendar app on your iPad and not from Google's.
- Go to settings.
- Choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Select Default calendar then choose a schedule.
Step 11. Go through your various calendars
You can view all the synchronized events by opening the application Calendars. You can select any calendar to view the events on that calendar.
