Know how to add photos to your Facebook page from a phone, tablet or computer.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Add photos from mobile device
Step 1. Open Facebook
It's the blue icon with a white “f” on it. Your news feed will be displayed if you are already signed in on your phone or tablet.
If you are not yet signed in to Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) and password to continue
Step 2. Open the page where you want to post the photos
If you want to post the photos to your newspaper, you can stay on the news feed page.
To go to a friend's diary, enter their name in the search bar and tap the result that appears, or search for their name in the news feed and tap it
Step 3. Tap Photo (on iPhone) or on Photos / Videos (on Android).
On Android, you need to tap the post field (the one that says "Have your say") at the top of the news feed before you can tap Photos / Videos.
- If you're on your own news feed, tap Photo under the publication field.
- If you're posting to a friend's journal, tap Share photo.
Step 4. Select the photos to upload
Tap the photos you want to upload. You can select more than one at the same time.
Step 5. Tap Done
This option is located at the top right of the screen. Tap it to create a draft with your photos as attachments.
Step 6. Edit your post
You can add text to your post by typing in the “Say something about this photo” (or “Write something”) field or add more photos by tapping the green landscape icon at the bottom screen then on Photos / Videos.
- To create a new album with your photos, tap + Create an album at the top of the screen then on Create an album.
- If you want your post to be public, tap the box Friends Where Friends of my friends under your name then select Public.
Step 7. Tap Publish
This option is located at the top right of the screen. Tap it to create your post and upload attached photos.
Method 2 of 2: Add photos from desktop version of Facebook
Step 1. Go to the Facebook website
Come in
in the address bar of your browser. Your news feed will be displayed if you are already logged in.
If you are not yet logged in to Facebook, enter your email address and password to continue
Step 2. Open the page where you want to post the photos
If you want to post the photos on your own page, you can stay on the news feed page.
To go to a friend's diary, enter their name in the search bar and tap the result that appears, or search for their name in the news feed and tap it
Step 3. Click Photo / Video
This option is located under the “Have your say” text field at the top of the page. Click on it to display a pop-up window.
Step 4. Select the photos to upload
If you're uploading multiple photos, press Ctrl (or Command if you're using a Mac) while clicking the photos you want to select.
If your computer does not open the default image folder, you will need to select it from the left side panel first
Step 5. Click Open
This option is located at the bottom right of the window. Click on it to upload your photos.
Step 6. Edit your post
You can add more photos by clicking on the square with a + at the top of the post window or add text by typing in the "Say something about this photo" (or "Write something") field.
- If you want your post to be public, click on the box Friends Where Friends of my friends at the bottom left then select Public.
- You can also click + Create an album then on Create an album if you want to add photos to your own album.
Step 7. Click Publish
This option is located at the bottom right of the publish window. Click on it to post the photos you want to upload to the Facebook page of your choice.
