When you put a website online, the first thing to do is ask Google to index it. Although after a while Google will index your site automatically, it can take a long time and you will not receive any traffic until the Google robot has passed your site.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Index a site

Step 1. Open the Google Search Console page

Step 2. Enter your password and click NEXT
This step is used to verify your identity.
If you are not signed in to your Google Account, you will need to enter your email address

Step 3. Go to Site URL
This is where you will enter your website address.

Step 4. Enter your site address
The standard format for an address is www.yoursitename.com.

Step 5. Check the I am not a robot box
This will validate your request.

Step 6. Click Add Property
This button is located under the address you just typed. When you click it, Google will receive your indexing request.
Google indexes thousands of sites every time it browses the web. So it may take a few days or even weeks for your site to appear in search results
Method 2 of 2: Add a business

Step 1. Go to the Google Business page

Step 2. Click CONNECT
The button is located in the upper right corner of the page.

Step 3. Enter your email address and password
Since this email address will appear in your business information list, make sure it's valid and you have access to it.

Step 4. Click Next
You will be redirected to a Google Maps form. This form is used to fill in the information relating to your company.

Step 5. Enter your business information
All the information you enter here will be displayed in Google Maps. Beyond the legal nature, the accuracy of the information will be a guarantee of seriousness for Internet users. Some are not required, but you will maximize your chances of attracting customers if you fill them all in.
- Company Name - This is what will be displayed when customers search for your business. You can choose to display your corporate name, business name or brand.
- Country - The country where your business is located.
- Address - The address of your company.
- Telephone - Your company's telephone number.
- Category - Select the field of activity of your company from the list that Google will suggest to you.
- Website - The website you want to add to the Google index.
- Delivery - Choose "yes" or "no" to indicate if you have a delivery service for your products.
- You may be asked for additional details based on your answers to the previous questions.

Step 6. Click Continue
You will find this button at the bottom of the form.

Step 7. Check the I am authorized to… box
The checkbox is in the window at the top left of the page. By checking it, you confirm that you are authorized to manage (at least on the internet) the business for which you are requesting registration on Google Maps.

Step 8. Click Continue
By clicking on this button you will generate the Google Business page for your company on Google Plus.

Step 9. Click Mail
The link will appear at the top left of the page. In order to verify your address, Google will send you a letter by post. Until you confirm your address, you won't be able to edit your business details and it won't appear on Google Maps.
