Do you want to install a directory service on your Windows operating system? Active Directory could be the solution. You must be a Windows 10 Enterprise or Professional user to install it.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Install Remote Server Administration Tools

Step 1. Go to the Download Center
Go to this address from a web browser. You must download Active Directory from Microsoft's site, as it does not come by default with Windows 10.
The installation will not be successful if you are not using Windows 10 Enterprise or Professional

Step 2. Click Download
This is the red button. You may have to scroll down to find it.

Step 3. Check the empty box next to File name
All the files in the list will then be selected.

Step 4. Click Next

Step 5. Download all the files to your computer
There are several files that you should download, so as shown click on Save to save each of them.

Step 6. Open your Downloads folder
You will find it on the desktop or in This PC.

Step 7. Install all the files
Double click on the first file, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Do the same with the other downloaded files.
Part 2 of 2: Activate Active Directory

Step 1. Open the Control Panel
To do this, you must enter control panel in the search bar and then select Control panel in the results that will appear.

Step 2. Click on Programs

Step 3. Click Turn Windows Features On or Off
A dialog box will appear.

Step 4. Tap the + next to Remote Server Administration Tools
You might need to scroll down. A list of tools will open.

Step 5. Click the + next to Role Administration Tools

Step 6. Check the box next to AD DS Tools
Windows will prompt you to restart your computer after installing certain files.

Step 7. Click Restart Now
Your computer will restart. After this step, the Active Directory tools will then be accessible via the Windows administration tools from the Start menu.
