Learn how to view Stories on Snapchat. These are the snaps that your friends have posted to their profiles and histories. These are available for 24 hours from the time of publication. If you fancy seeing what Sponsors and Random Users are posting, you can also check this out in Public Stories.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: View other users' histories

Step 1. Open

Snapchat.
Tap the app which is represented by a white ghost icon on a yellow background. When you tap it, it will open on the camera screen in case you are logged into your account.
If you haven't signed in to your Snapchat account yet, you should enter your email address and password first before continuing

Step 2. Tap the Chat tab
This is the white text bubble icon that can be found in the lower left corner of the screen. When you tap on it, a list of your friends' snaps will appear.
You can also swipe the screen from left to right to open this page

Step 3. Look for new Stories
Until you look at their history, any user who posts a snap in the past 24 hours will be at the top of the page. Cat. You'll also see a blue circle around the snap to the left of his name instead of the usual profile picture.

Step 4. Select a history
Tap the blue circle to the left of the username. This action will start the automatic reading of its history.

Step 5. Browse the history
When you tap on the left of the screen you will see the previous history and when you tap on the right, the next snap will appear.
- If you finish looking at the current history, you will immediately be taken to the next one.
- You will sometimes see an advertisement between the histories. You can ignore this by tapping on the right side of the screen.

Step 6. Look again at an old user history
If someone posted snaps to their history less than 24 hours ago and you've already watched them, you can see them again by doing this:
- find the user on the page Cat
- tap their profile picture or avatar on the left side of the page
- tap the Story circle to the left of their name at the top of the page
Method 2 of 3: See your own history

Step 1. Open

Snapchat.
Tap the app which is represented by a white ghost icon on a yellow background. When you tap it, it will open on the camera screen in case you are logged into your account.

Step 2. Tap the Story icon
This is a circle in the upper left corner of the screen, in the same place as your profile picture icon or avatar. When you tap it, your Snapchat profile page will open.

Step 3. Tap My Story
This option is in the middle of the screen. When you tap it, a drop-down menu with the snaps you posted to the Story in the last 24 hours will appear.

Step 4. Choose a snap to view
Tap a Story in the My Story to consult it.
- You might have to scroll down before you find the snap you want to watch.
- You also have the option of simply pressing the circle to the left of the section My Story to see all your snaps in chronological order.
Method 3 of 3: View Public Stories

Step 1. Open

Snapchat.

Step 2. Tap the Discover tab
It is represented by two white boxes which are located in the lower right corner of the screen. When you tap it, the page Discover will open. This is where you will find urgent events (festivals or protests for example), exclusives and Snapchat Stories from celebrities.
You will probably find a Stories or two from your friends on this page

Step 3. Browse the public Stories
Explore the list of Public Stories until you find the one you want to watch.

Step 4. Choose a Story
Tap the snap you want to see to open it. Thus, he will immediately start playing.

Step 5. Go through the Story
Tapping on the left of the screen will display the previous snap, and when you tap on the right, the next Story will appear.
- If you finish watching the current Story, you will immediately be redirected to the next one.
- You will sometimes see an advertisement between the histories if you watch a report. You can ignore this by tapping on the right side of the screen.

- When viewing a user's history, you have the option of pressing CHAT at the bottom of the screen to send a text message about the Story.
