Do you want to know if any of your friends are logged into Snapchat? In reality, there is no sure-fire way that someone is online or not on this site. However, you can tell if your friend is actually opening your snaps and messages, and infer whether they are online or not.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Send a message

Step 1. Open Snapchat

Type the app icon that looks like a white ghost on a yellow background. Snapchat's camera will open if you are logged in.
- If you are not logged in, type LOG IN (log in), enter your username (your email address or phone number) and password. Then press LOG IN.

Step 2. Navigate to the Friends page
Just swipe up the camera page to display the list of friends you've recently contacted on the screen.

Step 3. Find your friend's name
Scroll down to the name of the friend you snap recently.

Step 4. Open their email page
To do this, swipe your friend's name from left to right.

Step 5. Send him a message
Enter the entry first, then hit the submit button Send.

Step 6. Wait for your friend's Bitmoji to appear
It will pop up at the lower right corner of the mailbox, immediately above the text box. If the Bitmoji appears, your friend is signed in and reading your message.
- If your friend isn't using Bitmoji, you'll see a smiley icon instead, which will turn to a blue dot after a few seconds.
- If the Bitmoji (or the blue dot) does not appear, your friend is either logged out or they prefer not to reply to your message.
Method 2 of 2: Check sent messages

Step 1. Open

Type the application icon represented by a ghost on a yellow background. Snapchat's camera will be activated, if you are online.
- If you are not, type LOG IN (log in), enter your username (your email address or phone number) and password. Then press LOG IN.

Step 2. Go to the Friends page
To do this, swipe right on the camera page. The list of recently contacted friends will appear on the screen.

Step 3. Find your friend's name
Scroll down to the name of the person to whom you recently sent a snap.

Step 4. Look at the opening timestamp of the last snap
You should see a triangle with the word Opened and the message opening time under the person's name. The time will be expressed in seconds, minutes or hours.
- If your friend opened the message a few minutes ago, they're probably still online.
- On the other hand, if the triangle is filled with the word Delivered written next to it, it means that your friend has not opened the message.
