Learn how to play Facebook games on your Android device without losing your progress in the game.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: install the game
Step 1. Go to Play Store
Many of the most popular Facebook games are available for free download from the Play Store. You will be able to log into your Facebook account through the game and sync your progress.
- It would be difficult if not impossible for you to play the games on the Facebook site through the Android browser. Downloading the game from play store is the best way to play Facebook game on your android device.
- If you're using an Amazon device, go to the Amazon App Store instead. You will also find plenty of games there, but if the game you want to download is only available on the Google Play platform, you can try installing Play Store on your device.
Step 2. Tap the Google Play search bar
The search bar is at the top of the Google Play Store screen.
Step 3. Type the name of the game to download
Enter the name of the game you are playing on Facebook and search. If you typed the game name correctly, you will find the Android version of the same game among the results.
Step 4. Select the application
Select the app from the search results. Check the name and icon of the game on the Facebook site. You can also check the name of the game developer to make sure it is the same game.
Step 5. Click Install to install the game
Almost all Facebook games have a free Android version.
Part 2 of 2: Connect to Facebook
Step 1. Install the Facebook app
If you are logged into the Facebook app on your Android device, syncing the game will be much easier.
To install the Facebook app, open Google Play Store or Amazon Play Store and search for Facebook
Step 2. Select the Facebook application
After installing Facebook, you will find the Facebook app in your list of apps. Access the application list by pressing the ⋮⋮⋮ button on the home screen.
Step 3. Enter your Facebook credentials
Step 4. Click Login
You will be logged into your account in the Facebook app and your news feed will load.
Step 5. Select the Home button
Press the home button on the phone or device to return to the home screen.
Step 6. Select the game you have installed
You can select the game icon on the home screen or press ⋮⋮⋮ and search for the app in the list.
Step 7. Connect the game to Facebook
Look for the Connect to Facebook or Connect to Facebook button. The appearance and location of the button will depend on each game, but usually you will find this button in the main menu or on the main screen of the game. Look for the Facebook logo or a button that says Connect. You may need to access the menu Options Where Settings Game.
- For example, in the game Subway Surfers you will need to select the gear button in the upper right corner of the main menu and press Connect to Facebook.
- As another example, games like Candy Crush Saga and Bubble Witch require you to press the ☰ button in the lower right corner of the main menu or select the Facebook icon.
Step 8. Enter your login credentials (if required)
If you are already logged in to the Facebook app, chances are you no longer need to enter your login credentials. However, some apps may still ask you to do so. But, this is mandatory if you don't have the Facebook app installed.
Step 9. Start playing the game
Once logged in to Facebook, you will be able to start the game and resume your saved progress on the Facebook site.
Advice
- Make sure you are connected to the internet when you start the game, so that you can upload and save your progress to your Facebook account.
- Install any updates available for your Android device to make sure your device is compatible with games from Play Store.
