Learn how to change the default emoticon color on the Facebook Messenger app.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Change the color of emoticons on iPhone
Step 1. Open the Facebook Messenger application
It is represented by the white lightning bolt icon on a blue background.
- If you haven't signed in to Messenger yet, enter your phone number and press To continue, and then type your password.
Step 2. Tap Home
This is the button located in the lower left corner of the screen.
When you launch the app, if it opens with a chat, you should press the back arrow located in the upper left corner of the screen
Step 3. Select the person icon
You will find it in the upper left corner of the screen. When you tap it, your profile page will open.
Step 4. Select Photos, Videos & Emoji
This option is in the middle of the screen.
Step 5. Activate the Emoji Messenger option
This action will activate the Facebook Messenger emoticons, which is a little different from the ones that are specific to the iOS system.
If this option is already enabled, skip this step
Step 6. Select Emoji Options
You'll find this feature at the bottom of the page.
Step 7. Choose a color
This action will apply the color you selected to all emoticons that support color customization.
You can also press and hold an emoticon on your keyboard to see the different colors available
Method 2 of 2: Change the color of emoticons on Android
Step 1. Open the Facebook Messenger application

This option is at the bottom of your profile picture and to the right of a camera icon.
Step 5. Select Emoji
This is the last option on the page.
Step 6. Choose a color
The shade you select at this level will be applied to all emoticons that support color customization.
