You can edit the Google Chrome home page to customize the content that appears when you click the Home button on your browser. You can enable and set a home page for Chrome on desktops and on Android phones or tablets. However, you cannot use this feature in Chrome for iPhone or iPad.
Method 1 of 2: Change the home page on a desktop computer
Step 1. Open Google Chrome
This is the red, yellow, green and blue application.
Step 2. Click ⋮
This icon is located at the top right of the window. Click on it to open a drop-down menu.
Step 3. Select Settings
This option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu. It opens the settings menu in a new tab.
Step 4. Turn on the gray switch Show Home button
This switch is located at the top in the Appearance section of the settings. It will turn blue when activated
and you should now see a house icon
in the upper left corner of the window.
If the Show home button switch is already blue, your browser has a home button
Step 5. Check the Enter a web address circle
You'll find it to the left of the Enter a custom web address field. You can enter a web address there which will serve as your home page.
- You can also tick the circle New tab page to open a new tab each time you click the home button.

Step 7. Close the settings tab
Click on the small x at the top right of the Settings tab at the top of the Chrome window. Your changes will be saved. Now you will be able to click on the button in the shape of a house
in the upper left corner of the window to open the page you have set as the home page.
Method 2 of 2: Change the home page on Android
Step 1. Open
Tap the Chrome app icon that looks like a red, green, yellow, and blue sphere.
Step 2. Press ⋮
This button is located at the top right of the screen and opens a drop-down menu.
Step 3. Select Settings
You'll find this option at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Choose Home Page
This option can be found at the bottom in the Basic Options section.
Step 5. Press the gray switch
It will turn blue
and you will see a button in the shape of a house
appear in the upper left corner of the Google Chrome screen.
If the switch is already blue, it means the home page is activated on your browser
Step 6. Select Open this page
This option is at the top of the page.

The text field is at the top of the page.
Step 8. Enter a website address
Type the website address you want to use (for example

Your home page will be set and you can press the house button at any time to access it.
