Protecting your privacy on the Internet should be one of your biggest concerns if you have a computer that is used by more than one person. With the incognito mode also called private browsing, you can browse and surf the Internet without leaving traces in your computer's history. Even though it's easy to go incognito mode on Google Chrome, there are times when you forget to do so, compromising your privacy. You can easily open Google Chrome by default in private browsing mode.
Steps

Step 1. Pin the Google Chrome icon in the taskbar

). Then you have to click on the Pin button in the taskbar.

Step 2. Open the properties of Google Chrome in the taskbar
To do so, you need to right click on the icon of Google chrome in the taskbar. Thus, you will see a menu appear showing your favorites, the sites you have visited the most, etc. Then right click on the Google Chrome icon and click on Properties.

Step 3. Add -incognito in the input field in front of Target
When the window Properties of: Google Chrome opens, you will see an input field next to Target: with the path of a file in quotes. Enter -incognito at the end of it, outside the quotes, leaving a space just before it.
- For example: "C: \ Program Files (x86) Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" -incognito
- To restore the previous setting, you must remove -incognito in the input field of the Target section and save the changes.

Step 4. Save your changes
Click on the OK icon at the bottom of the window. After that, you will see a confirmation box appear. Click Continue and enter the password if required.

- You can use this same method to configure the shortcut in the menu To start up.
- You can open a new private browsing window faster by typing Ctrl + ⇧ Shift + N on your keyboard.
