Whether on a desktop computer or a phone (or tablet), you have the ability to view your Google activity. You can also view and review your browsing history on Google Chrome.
Steps
Method 1 of 5: View your Google Account history on a computer

Step 1. Open the My Activity page
Go to this page in your computer's web browser.

Step 2. Log in
Click on LOGIN in the middle of the page, enter the email address of your Google account, click on FOLLOWING, type the password for your Google account, then select FOLLOWING.
Go directly to the next step if the My Activity page appears

Step 3. Check your Google Account activity
Scroll down to view older activities.

Step 4. Select a specific category
If you want to see the activity of a specific section (for example Chrome), click on the heading of that section at the top of the page.

Step 5. Delete activities if necessary
To remove a specific activity from your Google history, click ⋮ to the right of the activity, select To delete in the drop-down menu then TO DELETE at the command prompt. To delete all Google history:
- select Delete activities on the left;
- choose The whole period under the heading Delete by date;
- click on TO DELETE;
- click on TO DELETE at the command prompt.
Method 2 of 5: Check your Google account history on iPhone

Step 1. Open Google
Tap the Google app icon that looks like a red, yellow, green, and blue "G" on a white background.

Step 2. Press the settings button

This cogwheel-shaped button is located at the top left of the screen and opens a new page.

Step 3. Scroll down to the History option
This option is in the middle of the page.

Step 4. Go to the My activity option
You will find this option in the middle of the page Historical.

Step 5. Review your Google Account activity
Scroll through the list of activities to view the oldest ones.

Step 6. Delete activities if necessary
To remove an activity from your Google Account history, tap ⋮ to the right of the activity, select To delete in the drop-down menu and then press TO DELETE.
- You can also delete your Google Account activity history by tapping ⋮ at the top right of the screen, by selecting Delete activities, by choosing The whole period under the heading Delete by date then pressing TO DELETE and finally TO DELETE when prompted.
Method 3 of 5: Check your Google account history on Android

Step 1. Open Google
To open the Google app, tap the red, yellow, green and blue "G" shaped icon on a white background.
The Google app is preinstalled on virtually all recent Android devices

Step 2. Press ☰
This icon is located at the bottom right of the screen.

Step 3. Choose Settings
This option is on the far left of the screen.

Step 4. Select Data and Personalization
This tab is at the top of the screen.

Step 5. Tap My Activity
This option is at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to open your Google Account activity page in Chrome.
If you are prompted to sign in, enter your Google Account email address and password before proceeding to the next step

Step 6. Review your Google Account activity
You can view your older activities by scrolling through the list.

Step 7. Select a specific category
If you want to see the activity of a specific section (eg Chrome), tap the section heading at the top of the page.

Step 8. Delete activities
If necessary, you can delete activities in your Google Account history by tapping ⋮ to the right of the activity, by choosing To delete in the drop-down menu then selecting TO DELETE at the command prompt.
- You can also delete your Google Account activity history by tapping ☰ then Delete activities > The whole period (under the heading Delete by date) > TO DELETE then TO DELETE.
Method 4 of 5: View Chrome history on a desktop

Step 1. Open Google Chrome

The Chrome app icon looks like a red, yellow, green, and blue sphere.

Step 2. Click ⋮
This button is located at the top right of the window and opens a drop-down menu.

Step 3. Select History
The option Historical can be found in the drop-down menu. Click on it to display a context menu.

Step 4. Click History
This option is at the top of the context menu. It opens the page Historical.

Step 5. Review Chrome history
Scroll through your history to review the different entries.

Step 6. Delete your history if necessary
It is possible to individually delete each item from the history by clicking on ⋮ then selecting Delete from history. However, you can also delete all of Chrome's history by doing the following:
- click on Clear browsing data on the left of the page;
- be sure that Navigation history either checked;
- select a time interval to delete in the field Period;
- click on Erase data at the bottom of the window.
Method 5 of 5: View Chrome history on mobile

Step 1. Open Google Chrome

To open Google Chrome, tap the red, yellow, green, and blue sphere icon.

Step 2. Press ⋮
This button is located at the top right of the screen and opens a drop-down menu.

Step 3. Select History
You will find this option in the middle of the drop-down menu.
- If you don't see the option Historical, Press on New tab in the drop-down menu, then again on ⋮ before selecting Historical.

Step 4. Review Chrome history
Once the Chrome History page opens, you can scroll down to review its contents.

Step 5. Remove some entries from your history
If you want to remove specific items from your history, follow the steps below.
- On iPhone: tap To modify at the bottom right of the screen, tap the item you want to delete and then select To delete at the bottom left.
- On Android: tap X to the right of each item you want to remove from the history page.

Step 6. Delete all of your history if necessary
If you want to delete all Chrome history on your phone or tablet, tap Clear browsing data, make sure that the option Navigation history is checked, press Clear browsing data then on Clear browsing data when prompted.
