More than ever, portable devices communicate with computers using today's technology. It can be incredibly easy to move one or hundreds of files from your Android device to your computer to keep them safe. With Google Chrome, you can organize your bookmarks and share them between different computers and devices.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Click on the star
The first method is probably the easiest method for on-the-fly backup, you only need to click on an icon. However, if you forgot the address you will not be able to set a favorite via this method.

Step 1. Click on the star icon
This can be found near the address bar, where the web address is located.

Step 2. Store your favorite
A dialog box will appear allowing you to select the location where you want to save the favorite. Select from the drop-down list in the dialog box where you want your Favorite to be kept.

Step 3. Edit the "Name" you want to give to your favorite
This is how it will appear on your favorites list, or on the favorites bar (delete all texts if you want only the favicon to appear on your favorites).

Step 4. Click “Finish” and your favorite will be saved
Method 2 of 4: Right click on the favorites bar
An easy technique to add a favorite to the favorites bar with Google Chrome is to simply right-click on it.

Step 1. Open the favorites bar
If your bookmarks bar is not open, simultaneously press the [CTRL] and [B] keys on your computer keyboard. If it is displayed (it will be below the Chrome URL field and it will display the favorites favicons), go to step 2.

Step 2. Right click on it and click “Add Page” from the menu

Step 3. Edit the name of the favorite
Change the "Name" of the favorite to your liking in the dialog box that appears.

Step 4. Save
Once you have defined the favorite and its location, click “Save”.
Method 3 of 4: Drag and drop
The ultimate goal of graphical user interfaces is logical use. What makes more sense than clicking on the link you want to favorite and dragging it to where you'd like it saved? Google Chrome makes it easier.

Step 1. Click on the favicon at the far left of the URL you want to set as a favorite and hold down

Step 2. Drag it to a space on the favorites bar where you want to save it
If you want to keep the favorite in a folder, hover the mouse cursor over the folder and wait for it to open.

Step 3. Drop the link by releasing the mouse button when it is at the location of your choice
Method 4 of 4: Import them from another browser
If you're new to Google Chrome, you may need to import some bookmarks you already had from another browser. Google has included this procedure in Chrome

Step 1. Click on the "Personalize and control Google Chrome" icon
Depending on the theme, it might be different, but with the basic Chrome theme, it's a wrench icon. It will say "Personalize and control Google Chrome" when you hover over it.

Step 2. Place the mouse cursor over "Favorites" in the drop-down list that appears
Another menu will appear. Click on "Import Favorites" in this menu.

Step 3. Select the browser
In the dialog box that appears, select the browser from which you want to import the favorites. You can import any of these items from the other browser.
- Navigation history
- Favorites / Bookmarks
- Saved passwords
- Search engine

Step 4. Import
Once you have selected what you want to import and where you want to import it, click "Import". A message will be displayed when the import is complete.
