How to access download history on Google Chrome

If you want to check out the list of files you downloaded from Chrome, there is a really easy way to do that. However, since downloads are not stored locally on mobile devices, this history can only be viewed from your computer's Chrome browser.

Steps

Step 1. Open the Google Chrome browser

It's a red, green, yellow, and blue round icon.

Step 2. Click ⋮

This option is located in the upper right corner of the browser.

You can also use the following shortcut to open the page Downloads: Ctrl + J (PC) or ⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + J (Mac).

Step 3. Select Downloads

This option is approximately in the middle of the top of the drop-down menu.

Step 4. Review your downloads

This page contains a list of all downloads made between the current date and the last time you cleared Chrome download history.

You can click on the X located at the top right of each downloaded file to delete it from your history.

Advice

The default folder for items downloaded from Chrome is called “Downloads”
