You like to use Instagram on an Android phone to post photos, videos, and watch other users' posts. If sometimes you find inappropriate posts, you can let Instagram know by flagging them. In return, if they respect Instagram's policies, these publications will be blurred. So any user wanting to see the video or photo classified as sensitive will have to click on it. Sensitive posts remain accessible, but those that violate Instagram's policies are deleted.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Edit sensitive content
Step 1. Go to Instagram
Look for the icon on your home screen that has a gradient of purple and yellow with a camera drawn in white. Tap on it to open the app. You can also find the application in the tree structure of your phone or by performing a search.
Step 2. Use the means of publication
Upload photos by tapping on the icon that features a square with a cross inside. Another solution is to make a story to share content.
To create a story, slide your finger across the screen from left to right or click on the icon that looks like a small camera. It is located at the top left of your screen
Step 3. Insert filters
Put filters on your photo or video, then click Next.
Step 4. Complete the information
Write a few words, specify the location and add the names of friends who were with you. Not all of this information is necessary. It's up to you to see what you want to post.
Step 5. Click the Share button
You will normally find a “V” shaped icon or the word “Share” at the top right. Note that this icon may be different depending on the version of Instagram and the phone.
Method 2 of 2: Mention a sensitive post
Step 1. Open Instagram
On your phone's home screen, find the icon with a yellow, pink, and purple background on which a camera is drawn in white. Tap the icon.
Step 2. Find the publication
Find the image or video you want to report. You should warn Instagram about inappropriate or spam-only posts.
Step 3. Press the ⁝ button
At the top right of the post, click ⁝.
Step 4. Tap Report
From the pop-up menu that appears, select Report.
Step 5. Choose the reason
Once you click on Report, select between "This is unwanted content" and "Inappropriate content" to notify Instagram.
Advice
- Any post can be offensive to someone and be flagged as a sensitive post and will therefore be blurred.
- Any blurred message for sensitive content can be viewed through Instagram's help page.
