  • Try to find topics that interest you and dive into them. School can become an adventure in which you learn exciting things.

Make sure your bedroom is tidy. Your parents are not servants. They are not supposed to do the housework for you. Tidying up your room yourself when it is in a mess means that you are mature and that you are not wasting their time.

  • Hang your clothes on a hanger or store them in a drawer. If you store them neatly, they will be more beautiful to wear.
  • Make your bed after sleeping in it. A well-made bed is a great way to start the night.

  • Share with your parents when you feel good and when you feel bad. They want to share your happiness when it is going well and console you when it is bad.

Empathy is putting yourself in other people's shoes, it is the opposite of selfishness. Practicing empathy will help you accept your emotions and expand your circle of friends.

  • Show respect to others, even to disrespectful people. This is how they will learn to respect you.
  • Never show dissatisfaction in public. Keep your cool, even under difficult circumstances.
  • Help others as much as possible. Helping others does not necessarily mean giving them something. It can also mean listening, helping out or giving advice.


  • Sarcasm is okay in some situations when joking with your friends. You can afford that kind of humor when the circumstances are right.
  • Support your friends, unless they get involved in illegal or immoral activities like stealing at work or dealing drugs.
  • Your emotions will never be "perfect". The anger, sadness, unease, and boredom you experience do not mean that you are bad, but that you are human.
  • Don't try to be someone else, just be yourself. To respect others, you have to start by respecting yourself.
