You've put together a great PowerPoint presentation, but you've put in too many slides. So delete the slides that are not essential in a few clicks.
Step 1. Access the software
Double-click the PowerPoint icon to open.
Step 2. Go get your document
View your PowerPoint document.
Step 3. Select the slide
Navigate through your file to the slide you want to delete.
Step 4. Check the display modes
Make sure that in the left part, the tabs Plan and Slides are here.
Step 5. View in Slides view
If it is not displayed in mode Slides, click on the tab Slides at the top of the left section.
Step 6. Right click
Place the pointer over the slide you want to delete and right click.
Step 7. Delete the slide
In the pop-up menu, tap Delete slide and thus permanently remove the slide from your presentation.
There is another possibility to delete a slide. Just select the slide and then press the Delete keyboard key
- Be careful, if you delete a slide, then save your document, your slide is permanently lost. You can only retrieve the slide, if you have not yet saved your file. To do this, you will only have to press the icon. to cancel to make your slide reappear or to use the CTRL + Z key combination.
