Pictures can add a lot to a PowerPoint presentation! Good visual illustrations will keep the interest of the people attending your presentation, even in the passages where you are making enumerations.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Insert an image

Step 1. Launch Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer
No matter which version you are using, this method is compatible with all versions of PowerPoint.
In this method, we assume that you have already edited a presentation in PowerPoint and just want to add an image to it. If not, read the wikiHow to Create a Presentation with PowerPoint

Step 2. Select the slide
Select the slide in which you want to insert the image, in the list of slides on the left of the PowerPoint window.

Step 3. Select the Insert option
At the top of the screen you will find an options menu. Click on Insert. From this option, you can insert graphics, photos and WordArt.

Step 4. Select Photo
In the group Pictures, select the option Photo. A window will open allowing you to choose an image.

Step 5. Select an image
Find the photo you want to insert in PowerPoint then select it and click Insert at the bottom of the window.
- The image will immediately appear in the slide you selected.
- If you want to insert an image from the internet, right click and select Save as from the drop-down menu. The image will be saved to a location on your computer, from where you can later select it to insert.

Step 6. Resize the image
Reduce or stretch the edges of the image to adjust its size. Note that if you enlarge an image that was originally very small, it will appear blurry and poor quality.
Hold the ⇧ Shift key to resize the image proportionally. This way, if you trim one edge of the image, the rest of the image will also be adjusted accordingly. This is the best way to get a well-fitting waist

Step 7. Save your work
It is very important to save your work as you work so that you do not lose everything in the event of a system or your own failure.
