The speaker volume on your computer can be increased to enjoy louder sound when watching videos, listening to music, or making a call without a headset. Windows computers and Macs have a combination of hardware options and system settings that you can use to change the volume. If you are using a Windows desktop computer and not a laptop, you will need to go through the volume button on your external speakers to enjoy louder sound.

Advice

  • Check that the volume settings in the app you are using are also set to maximum. This can increase the volume further when your device settings are already at full strength. For example, if you're watching YouTube videos, make sure the volume slider is all the way to the right.
  • Use external speakers or a wireless Bluetooth speaker to maximize volume even more. Connected to your computer or device, the speakers will allow you to enjoy even louder sound.
