Advice

  • You can enter the IP address in the address bar of your browser to go directly to the site. Sometimes this technique can bypass firewalls or parental controls.
  • Although not all sites allow you to see their IP address, using the traceroute command instead of the ping command prevents many sites from returning the wrong address.
