Method 1 of 2: On Android and iOS

You will find this icon under Display settings and above Navigation.

You should see a slider next to Application volume. Drag to the left to lower the sound and to the right to raise it. You can also click Play sound on the speaker if you want to use an external speaker.

You can also change the volume by pressing the side volume buttons on your phone. When you are in the Waze app, the ringtone buttons correspond to the app volume, not the system volume
