Learn how to project your computer screen to your Chromecast TV or monitor using a PC. Once you've connected your Chromecast, you can watch videos, visit web pages, or play games while projecting your computer to your TV.
Steps

Step 1. Connect your PC to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast
Make sure your computer and Chromecast device are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
If they're not on the same network, you won't be able to share your computer's screen to your Chromecast

Step 2. Open Google Chrome on your computer
Find and click on the icon

on your computer or in the start menu to launch Chrome.
If Google Chrome is not installed on your computer, you can download it here

Step 3. Click the ⋮ icon in Chrome
This button is located next to the address bar at the top right of Google Chrome. Your browser menu will open.

Step 4. Click Cast on the menu
A pop-up titled Caster will open at the top right and scan your Wi-Fi network for available Chromecast devices.

Step 5. Select your Chromecast device from the Caster window
Your computer screen will now replace what was displayed on your TV. You can watch videos, visit web pages or even play games in your browser and project it all on your television.
