How to connect your Hisense television to your phone

You can view your phone's content on your Hisense smart TV. Since Hisense TVs run Android, iPhone users will need to use an HDMI adapter or go through a third-party media player (such as Apple TV, Chromecast, or Roku).

Steps

Method 1 of 2: On Android

Step 1. Open your Hisense television settings

Push the button ≡ on your remote control then select the star wheel icon.

Step 2. Go to System

This option is in the left column.

Step 3. Choose Network

Step 4. Select Wi-Fi

If this option is already selected, you can skip this step.

Step 5. Activate the Anyview Stream option

If you see the word "Enabled" under this option, you can skip this step. Otherwise, select Anyview Stream then Enabled.

Depending on your TV model, you may need to select Anyview broadcast in a list.

Step 6. Connect your Android to a Wi-Fi network

This must be the same network that your Hisense television is connected to.

Step 7. Open the Google Home app on your Android

It's the colorful house icon on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step 8. Press menu ≡

This button is located at the top left of the screen.

Step 9. Select Cast Screen or Audio

On some devices, this option is called Cast Screen or Audio.

Step 10. Tap Cast screen or audio again

You will see a list of devices that your Android can connect to.

Step 11. Choose your Hisense television from the list

Your Android will display the contents of its screen on the television.

You can stop the broadcast at any time by pulling out the notification area at the top of the screen, pressing Broadcast screen then selecting Disconnect.

Step 1. Purchase an HDMI to Lightning adapter

These adapters have a standard iPhone Lightning port on one end and a female HDMI port on the other.

If you don't want to use a physical cable, you can go through a third-party media device (e.g. Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire stick, or Chromecast) and then use the device's official app to connect to television

Step 2. Insert the Lightning end of the adapter into the iPhone

Step 3. Connect the adapter to the TV using the HDMI cable

The HDMI cable has the same connector on both sides. Insert one of them into the adapter and the other into a free HDMI port on the television.

Step 4. Press the Enter button on the Hisense remote control

This will display a list of all input sources.

Step 5. Select the HDMI port your iPhone is connected to

Use the arrow keys to navigate then press Entrance once you have selected the iPhone. Your phone will connect to the television.
