Learn how to connect devices to your iPhone so they can use its internet connection. This process is known as "tethering" or creating a "hotspot". Some mobile devices do not support tethering.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Create a WiFi hotspot

Step 1. Go to Settings on your iPhone
The application Settings is on the home screen. It is the star wheel icon.

Step 2. Tap Connection Sharing
It is found in the first group of menu options Settings.
- If you don't see this option, tap Cellular network then Configure Connection Sharing. You may be asked to contact your mobile phone operator to subscribe to an offer that allows connection sharing. You may be charged additional fees.
- If you don't see the option Sharing the line nowhere, whether in Settings or in Cellular network, contact your mobile phone operator.

Step 3. Enable Connection Sharing
The switch will turn green and, if your mobile plan does not support tethering or if additional confirmation is required, you will be asked to contact your carrier before you can begin.

Step 4. Tap Wifi Password
This option allows you to change your network password.

Step 5. Enter a password
Enter the password for your wireless network. Make sure it is safe and difficult to guess, especially if you are in a public place.

Step 6. Tap Done
This will change the password for your wireless network.

Step 7. Open the list of available networks
Open the list of networks available on another device. This process varies depending on your device, but connecting to iPhone is like any other wireless network.

Step 8. Select your iPhone
Select your iPhone from the list of available networks. You will see your device listed as one of the available wireless networks. The network name is the same as your iPhone.

Step 9. Enter your password
Enter the password you created earlier to connect to the network. You can view the password on your iPhone at any time in the menu Sharing the line.

Step 10. Test the Internet connection
Test the internet connection on your device. Once connected to the wireless network, your device will be able to use your iPhone's Internet connection. If you log in on a computer, your data usage will be much higher than that of a mobile device.
Method 2 of 3: Connect by USB

Step 1. Go to Settings on your iPhone
The application Settings is on the home screen. It is the star wheel icon.

Step 2. Tap Connection Sharing
If you can't find it in the first group of menu options Settings, your mobile subscription does not support tethering. You will need to contact your operator and take out a subscription that offers this possibility.

Step 3. Activate Connection Sharing
The switch will turn green and that's when you'll know if your subscription doesn't support tethering. If so, contact your mobile operator.

Step 4. Connect your iPhone
Connect your iPhone to your computer by USB. Use whatever cable you use to sync and charge it. You can connect your iPhone to any USB port on your computer.

Step 5. Test your Internet connection
Your computer should automatically detect your iPhone as a modem and use it to connect to the Internet.
If you have an Ethernet cable plugged in or are connected to a wireless network, you may need to disconnect before you can use your iPhone
Method 3 of 3: Connect using Bluetooth

Step 1. Go to Settings on your iPhone
The application Settings is on the home screen. It is the star wheel icon.

Step 2. Tap Connection Sharing
If you can't find it in the first group of menu options Settings, your mobile subscription does not allow you to share your iPhone's Internet connection. You will need to contact your mobile phone operator to subscribe to a subscription that allows connection sharing.

Step 3. Enable Connection Sharing
The switch will turn green. If you receive a message indicating that your subscription does not allow tethering, you will need to contact your mobile operator.

Step 4. Connect to the Bluetooth network (on Windows)
Here's how to connect to the Bluetooth network on a Windows computer.
- Click the Bluetooth icon in the notification area. If you don't see any icon, your computer probably doesn't have Bluetooth.
- Click on Join a personal network.
- Click on Add device.
- Click on your iPhone and press Pair that appears on your phone screen.
- Right click on your iPhone after installing it and select Login using → Access point. Your computer is now using your iPhone connection.

Step 5. Connect to the Bluetooth network (on Mac)
- Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- Click ⋮⋮⋮⋮ to see the main menu.
- Click on Bluetooth.
- Click on Pair next to your iPhone then on Pair on your phone screen.
- Click on the Bluetooth button in the menu bar, select your iPhone and then click on Connect.

Step 6. Test your connection
Now that you are connected to the network, you should be able to connect to the Internet with your iPhone.
