Homer Simpson is a widely recognizable cartoon character, in part because of the popularity of The Simpsons series, but also because of the comedic nature of the stereotypes of the American working class that he embodies.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Make Homer's Face
Step 1. Draw a fairly large circle
This will be your character's eye.

Step 2. Make a smaller circle
This second circle at the bottom right, should measure about half the height of the first.

Step 3. Draw a straight horizontal line from the tip of the nose to the eye

Step 4. Draw another circle, the same size as the eye
It should be exactly aligned with the eye, horizontally. It should wrap around the nose.

Step 5. Erase the parts that overlap the nose and the first eye, as the first eye should be more visible in the foreground

Step 6. Draw a curve that extends from the lowest point of the nose, until it is aligned with the foreground eye

Step 7. Draw another curve from the same point as the previous one, but downwards in a southeast direction
Its length should be equal to the height of one of its eyes.

Step 8. Draw another curve from an end point of the last one, pointing slightly downward
Its length is the same as the height of the nose.

Step 9. Draw a small curve, slightly smaller than the previous one, which starts from the end point of the last one and goes in a southwest direction

Step 10. From the end point of the line in step 9, draw another curve that goes south-east and is slightly longer than the height of one of the eyes

Step 11. Draw a curve from the point of the last one, to the point of that of step 12

Step 12. Add an expression of your choice for the mouth

Step 13. Draw a circle the size of the curved portion of Homer's skull (see illustration above)
Cut in half to make a semicircle, but tilted at an angle.

Step 14. Move the semicircle to an appropriate point

Step 15. Make a small bump above the second eye (see photo)

Step 16. Draw a straight line from the top of the bump to the lowest part of the semicircle

Step 17. Draw a curve from the other point of the semi-circle of the skull that will extend all the way down to past the mouth

Step 18. Create a circle measuring about half the size of the eye and cut off a small part
This will be the ear.

Step 19. Draw the line that appears on the ear of Homer's ears (see photo)

Step 20. Add the two curvy hairs on the top of the head and the rest just above the ear

Step 21. Add the pupils of the eyes where you want them

Step 22. Color Homer's face and beard with the appropriate colors
Part 2 of 2: Make Homer's Face and Body

Step 1. Draw 2 circles which will represent the eyes
Place two points for the pupils, in these two circles.

Step 2. Draw the nose in the shape of a sausage under the eyes

Step 3. Draw an arc pointing to the left for the first part of the mouth

Step 4. Draw another arc that points to the right and will be connected to the other arc

Step 5. Draw Homer's head above his eyes

Step 6. Draw her hair by making four semicircles

Step 7. Draw Homer's neck and ear, for his ear you can just draw a small semicircle

Step 8. Draw the collar just below the neck

Step 9. Draw Homer's belly at the bottom of his collar

Step 10. Draw the 2 sleeves of his shirt

Step 11. Under his sleeve, draw his arm and hand

Step 12. Draw the start of his pants and legs
