To be able to log into YouTube, you must have a Google account. However, users who already have an email account (or those who just don't want a Gmail account) can create Google Accounts using other valid addresses. To do this, simply visit the page for creating Google accounts without Gmail from your web browser and fill out a form (the mobile application does not offer this option, but you can use a mobile browser). Note that you can also browse and watch videos, and use other YouTube features, without having to create an account.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Create a Google Account without Gmail

Step 1. Go to
You will be redirected to a page on which a form allowing you to create a new account will appear. Be aware that the email field does not include the watermark @ gmail.com which appears on the usual account creation page.
- You also have the option of clicking on the link Use my current email address instead under the username on the usual account creation page to access the account creation page without Gmail.

Step 2. Fill out the form to create a new account
You must provide your first and last name, an email address (other than Gmail), a password, your date of birth and your mobile phone number.
The phone number is needed to recover your password in case you forget it and also for security reasons

Step 3. Click Next
If you fill out the form correctly, the window Confidentiality rules and conditions of use will open.
If the information entered in any of the form fields is incorrect, you will be notified and you will not be able to continue until you have corrected it

Step 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ACCEPT
This button will be disabled until you have reached the end of the conditions. After clicking on this button, a new page will appear and you will receive a verification email.

Step 5. Click Check Now
When you press this button, a pop-up window will open for you to sign in to the email service you used to create the account.
You also have the option of going directly to your email account and clicking on the verification email that has been sent to you

Step 6. Log in with the address that was used to create your account
Type your email address and password, then click Following. Your Google Account will now be verified and ready to use.

Step 7. Go to

Step 8. Sign in with your new Google account
Click on TO LOG IN in the upper right corner and enter your email address and password.
If you've already signed in from your verification account, you no longer need to go through this process

Step 9. Verify the privileges of your account
Now that you have a YouTube account, you can take advantage of the features of the site that you couldn't use before. Some of the things you can now do on YouTube are:
- upload videos
- subscribe to channels
- comment on videos
- create custom playlists
Part 2 of 2: Use YouTube without an account

Step 1. Explore and watch videos
If you don't want to create a new account, however, you can view and explore YouTube content using the search bar and the list of recommended videos.
- It is also not necessary to have a Google account before you can explore and watch videos with the mobile app.
- Age verification is performed with the date of birth provided in your Google Account. Therefore, to watch videos prohibited to minors, it is necessary to have a Google account.

Step 2. Watch live video game broadcasts
You can do this via this link https://gaming.youtube.com/. You can use the YouTube game service to watch live video game broadcasts and related news.
To be able to use the chat option and subscriptions, it is necessary to have an account

Step 3. Share videos with friends
Click on the button To share which is at the top of the option SUBSCRIBE under a video to bring up a menu with several links to social media platforms as well as a short URL that makes sharing easier.
- On mobile devices, tap on the video while watching it and some options will open. Tap the icon To share (the curved arrow) in the upper right corner to see the options for sharing that video.
- You can refer to a specific moment in the video by adding the tag #t followed by a timestamp to the video URL (for example, adding # t = 1m50s, you will create a direct link to 1 minute 50 seconds in the video).

Step 4. Watch videos on your television
If you want to connect your computer using an HDMI cable or some other type of cable, you can use the TV-optimized version of the site. If you have a Chromecast, you have the option to stream videos from your mobile device by tapping the icon Cast (a screen with transmitting waves) in the upper right corner of the video.
