Found a full movie on YouTube and wish you didn't have to change videos every fifteen minutes? With YouTube Downloader and video merging software, you can bundle all these videos together and make a full movie out of it!
Steps
Step 1. Go to the YouTube Downloader site or a popular app download site
Download the latest version to your computer. The installation file is small and the download will only take a few minutes. There is a Pro version available for purchase, but the free version will be satisfactory for the majority of users.
Step 2. Install the program
During installation, the program will try to install several toolbars and extension programs. Be sure to disable all of these options during installation, as it will be difficult to remove them after installation.
Step 3. Find the videos you want on YouTube
Copy the URL from your browser's address bar. Open YouTube Downloader and go to the tab Download. Paste the URL in the top field. Choose the video quality using the drop-down menu and designate a location on your computer to save the video. When you are ready, click the button To download.
Repeat the same process for all the videos you want to download
Step 4. Look for free video merging software
There are a variety of free software that will allow you to combine multiple video files. This is really useful if the movie you uploaded to YouTube is divided into several parts. Search online for "link videos" or "merge videos" and read the reviews until you find the software that's right for you.
Most free software will attempt to install toolbars in your browser. Always recheck options during the installation process
Step 5. Load all videos from YouTube to the video converter
Make sure they are loaded in the correct order.
Step 6. Start the conversion
If you are going to watch the video on iPhone or iPad, make sure to convert it to MP4 format while merging. This will ensure that it plays on the desired device.
Step 7. Test the video
After the merge is complete, test the video on your computer to see if everything is working normally. Do this before deleting the originals in case you need to reconvert the files.
Advice
- If the video doesn't appear when you add it to iTunes, try searching for it in the search bar (make sure it's in the Video section). In case you still can't find it, try adding it again.
- Do not close the main YouTube Downloader window, as this will close everything and stop the downloads in progress.
