You can easily log out of your YouTube account from your computer, phone or tablet. However, it is not possible to log out of YouTube on Android without logging out of all the other Google applications linked to your account.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Sign out from a computer

Step 1. Type https://www.youtube.com in the address bar
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you will see your account image and your profile picture (if you have one) appear in a circle at the top right of the page.

Step 2. Click on your account image or photo
These can be found at the top right of the page. You will see a drop-down menu appear.

Step 3. Click Sign Out
This button is located towards the center of the drop-down menu. This action will log you out of your YouTube account.
Method 2 of 3: Sign out on an iPhone or iPad

Step 1. Open YouTube on your iPhone or iPad
This is the white icon with a red rectangle containing a small white triangle. It is usually found on the home screen.

Step 2. Click on your profile picture
It is in a small circle at the top right of the screen.

Step 3. Select Change Account
This option is at the bottom of the menu.

Step 4. Click Use YouTube without a Google Account
This option is also found at the bottom of the menu. You will be logged out of your YouTube account.
Method 3 of 3: Sign out from Android

Step 1. Open YouTube on your Android device
This is the icon of a white triangle enclosed in a red rectangle. It's usually found on the home screen or in the app drawer.
- You cannot log out of YouTube from Android without completely logging out your account from your phone or tablet. It will also sign you out of any apps that share that same account, like Google Maps, Gmail, and Android (if you signed in using that account).
- If you just want to watch videos anonymously, tap your profile picture at the top right and select Activate incognito mode from the drop-down menu.
- If you decide to delete this account and the associated data from your Android, go further by following this method.

Step 2. Go to your profile icon
This is the circle at the top right of the screen. You will see a drop-down menu appear.

Step 3. Scroll down and select Change Account
This option is located towards the bottom of the menu. A list of accounts will appear.

Step 4. Select Manage your accounts Where Sign out.
The option displayed will depend on the version, settings and number of accounts you have.

Step 5. Click on the account you want to delete
You may need to click Google before seeing your account appear.

Step 6. Tap Remove your account
If you don't see this option, click the icon ⁝ at the top right of the page before selecting Delete your account. A confirmation message will then appear, confirming that all data associated with this account will be deleted from your Android device.

Step 7. Click REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT to confirm your choice
You will then be completely logged out of your YouTube account and associated applications on your Android.
