You might think it's hard to draw a person, but it's actually a straightforward process if you approach it rigorously. The easiest way to draw a person is to use the oval technique where the designer sketches ovals connected together to form the body parts and give the character their posture. It might sound very basic, but it is a versatile and easy to learn technique that is used regularly by many illustrators for their work.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Draw people on a background

Step 1. Sketch the scene

Step 2. Draw the frame and the positions of the characters

Step 3. Draw the necessary body shapes
They will help you draw the bodies.

Step 4. Draw the details
Harness faces, clothes, shoes, facial features, etc.

Step 5. Refine the lines
Use a pencil with a fine point.

Step 6. Draw the outline

Step 7. Erase the traces of the sketches

Step 8. Add color
Method 2 of 3: Draw people in action

Step 1. Sketch the frames
This will allow you to create the poses of the characters in the scene. Use different colors so as not to confuse the characters.

Step 2. Sketch the shapes of the body
They are needed to then draw the bodies.

Step 3. Draw the details
Show faces, clothes, features, etc.

Step 4. Refine the drawing with a thin pencil

Step 5. Draw the outline

Step 6. Erase the traces of the draft

Step 7. Add color
Method 3 of 3: Draw a man

Step 1. Start with the upper body
For the head, just sketch a circle and add a sharp curve at the bottom to give it the shape of an upside-down egg.

Step 2. Draw the neck
It is usually sufficient to draw two short lines generally aligned with the ears.

Step 3. Draw a horizontal line
Put a line perpendicular to the base of the neck without pressing too much. This line will serve as a guide for the collarbones. She should be between two and three heads wide.

Step 4. Sketch the shoulders
On either side of this line, draw a circle that is slightly smaller than the one you drew earlier for the head. These will be the shoulders.

Step 5. Take care of the biceps
Draw two ovals slightly longer than the vertical length of the head to attach them to the lower part of the shoulder circles. This will be the upper arms (the biceps).

Step 6. Draw the torso
Connect the points where the ovals of the biceps meet the circles of the shoulders. You can do this by drawing a kind of trapezoid upside down for the torso and two vertical lines for the trunk. Below, draw an upside-down triangle at the pelvis.

Step 7. Draw the navel
Transfer half the length of the head above the inverted triangle and make a small circle there, this is the navel. To make sure you follow the proportions, adjust the ovals of the biceps so that the bottom lines up with the height of the belly button. Draw a line to guide you if necessary.

Step 8. Sketch two circles slightly wider than the shoulders
They should end up halfway inside the triangle of the pelvis. These are the hip joints.

Step 9. Draw two long ovals
Extend the length of the torso to draw two ovals under the circles of the hip joints. These are the thighs.

Step 10. Draw two small ovals for the knees
They should overlap the ovals of the thighs a little.

Step 11. Draw two more for the calves and shins

Step 12. Sketch two triangles
Place them at the bottom of the ovals for the calves. These are the feet.

Step 13. Return to the biceps
Draw two more ovals below for the forearms.

Step 14. Draw two more circles at the end of the arms
It will be the hands.

Step 15. Smooth the outline
Add details for the body, clothing and accessories.

Step 16. Admire your creation
Advice
- Do not rush, but become a prolific designer. Draw often. It is practice makes perfect !
- Get into the habit of sketching lightly. This will make the lines to guide you less visible while putting less strain on your hands. You can always come back and go over it later once you're happy with what you've drawn.
- Don't draw the body first. Instead, focus on the shape and size of the head. From there, you can continue to draw based on the proportions of the head. If you draw the body first, it will be more difficult to get your head the right size.
- Long, thick strokes are more difficult to control than thin, light strokes. Instead, try drawing gently to create the line you want.
- Start with a pencil. If you get it wrong, you can just erase and start over.
- Take the time to make sure you're in a well-lit, comfortable area. If you don't feel comfortable, your mind will be confused and you won't get the results you want.
- Visit the bookstore or library to browse art books. The Internet is also a fantastic resource for examples of the work of international professionals.
- Try to get inspiration from your friends, family, or things you see on the internet. Look outside if you are having trouble finding inspiration.
- Immerse yourself in a world of character designs. Find artists who love the arts you like and practice by replicating their techniques. If you can watch a professional football player play and see how, why can't you do the same with a professional football player?
- If you can't see how the characters are going to appear in a certain scene, try taking a break to visualize it better, this allows you to make your vision more real and focus on the details that are difficult for you.
Warnings
- This could cause some frustration. In this case, take a break and come back to your drawing later.
- Don't be disappointed if you don't believe your design is good. Not everyone has a talent for drawing, and you might just need more exercise.
- Don't think you have to draw it exactly. Make mistakes, this is how you learn!
- Some people might not like nudes or adult subjects. As an artist, you have the freedom to draw whatever you want, but still take into account the people you draw.
